What is the MAD Metaverse?
A 3D game that utilises the power of blockchain technology to empower players, artists and owners.

What is an NFT?
An NFT is a non-fungible token. A non-fungible token is a one-of-a-kind digital asset that is stored on the blockchain. Without going into too much technical detail, its storage on the blockchain creates a unique digital signature that defines the ownership of the asset, in other words, it provides a kind of ‘digital receipt’ for your asset.
How do the two apply together in the MAD Metaverse?
Combining gaming with NFTs allows all players and users to own outright all of the in-game assets that they purchase, collect, win, or trade.
Essentially allowing you to easily sell off assets you end up owning. Which allows for an array of potentially lucrative avenues.
A few examples of assets in your standard games include player skins/cosmetics, weapons, maps, skills, experience, and much more.
Imagine if you could have owned and subsequently been able to trade or sell the assets you accumulated through all those hard spent hours of gameplay?!
MAD right?
Now… Let’s breakdown the MAD Metaverse as a game:
The MAD Metaverse is a game played on three different playing fields.
The first level of the game is ‘The Lab’. This is where our MAD Metascientist avatars/NFTs can mutate and evolve Metacells into fully grown organisms.
The secondary game is the ‘Nanowars’. The Nanowars is played in a 3D environment where smaller cells known as Nanocells battle it off in hopes of growing stronger and discovering new weapons and tools.
The third release involves the ‘MAD Metaverse’. This is where our MAD Metascientists and MAD Metacells prepare to journey into a fully immersive 3D environment.
What is MAD Biometa?
This is our in-game currency. MAD Biometa can be openly traded for NFTs and is earnt through in-game involvement/gameplay and sold on all listed marketplaces/exchanges. This ensures that players not only own their in-game assets but are also able to earn with them, while they play.

MAD Metascientists:
The MAD Metascientists are a collection of utility-first & dynamic NFT characters, playable only in the post-singularity universe known as the MAD Metaverse — a collaborative ecosystem that will house every aspect of this brand new, highly immersive play-to-earn game.
MAD Metascientists will break your standard, static NFT’s visual barriers into a fully realised animated avatar that will progress and evolve over time. Not only becoming more unique but also more skilled and more valuable as they progress.

MAD Metacells
A Metacell is the Metascientists’ abominations or “work of art” MADness is in the eye of the beholder, therefore the function your Metacell serves will be entirely up to you.
These Metacells were deliberately made by Metascientists to hunt and find effective methods of collecting MAD Biometa. Scientists know the Metacell’s intent may be hostile but believe they can develop, nurture and control them. However, a Metacell’s desire to evolve inevitably increases their self-awareness. In turn, the Metacell will eventually adapt to become sentient, and as a result, be able to freely roam the MAD Metaverse on their own accord.
MAD Nanocells
MAD Nanocells are the most abundant of all the cells within the MAD Metaverse. Curated by Metacells and strengthened by Metascientists, they make up an integral part of the entire ecosystem and will be the main port of entry for the vast majority of players into this MAD new world.
Through experimentation and observation, you will discover new ways to unlock the potential of your Nanocells, empowering them with special traits, powers, and weapons. Ultimately forging the ultimate team to battle it out against other Nanocells.
Nanocells are the soldiers of the MAD Metaverse. They are created through a Metacell’s evolutionary trait to split; they are bred specifically for war.
So why NFTs?
The realisation of the potential of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) over the past few years has blown up exponentially. Albeit the first NFT was released in 2016, the theory and demand for such technology are far from new, this is especially true in the gaming industry where players have been attempting to claim ownership of their digital assets for decades. However, only to be faced with disappointment and in some cases even legal action taken out against them for attempting to sell their accounts or in-game items. Even though these particular assets have taken players years of dedication and hard work to obtain. With the help of NFTs, we are now able to solve this issue outright and with some interesting results.
For over 20 years now consumers have been buying and selling their game accounts, in-game currencies, and rare items, often for a profit, and over an equal amount of time, game developers have spent a lot of time and money attempting to prevent a budding market and industry. This inevitably created a black market worth billions of dollars, if not more, with some websites and companies making a small fortune overnight! And so, as a result, one industry looks to capitalise on this opportunity and bring legitimacy to the gaming industry — make way for Web3.
So what makes NFTs so important to Web3 and gaming? These tokens known also as cryptocurrencies provide a receipt of ownership, an immutable and tamper-proof receipt at that, forever stored on the blockchain (sort of) and viewable by anyone. It’s just about as close as we get to creating a physical asset in the digital world. It’s no surprise that game developers and studios have been flooding the scene to start work on their AAA titles for an industry pegged as soon to be worth up to 1 trillion dollars and with an estimate of $400 billion by 2025.
This barely even scratches the surface of what’s to come within the MAD Metaverse. With so much to offer, you won’t want to miss out. So… are you in?
